The Smarter Tools ST-GP7500DEB dual fuel portable generator has its control panel located on the side of the generator. When you face the control panel you will find at the extreme top left the Low oil indicator and to the right of that you have the Engine switch.

To the right of the engine switch you have the Hour/Volt meter and to the right of the Hour/Volt meter you have the 8 amp 12 Volt DC outlet. Above the 12Volt outlet you have the circuit breaker that controls this outlet.

To the right of the 12 Volt Outlet you have the 120/240 Volt L14-30 amp AC twist lock outlet and to the right of this outlet you have the 120 Volt L5-30 amp twist lock outlet. Above these twist lock outlets you have 2 circuit breakers that control the AC outlets.

To the right of these circuit breakers you have 2 Duplex 120 Volt 20 amp AC outlets and right at the bottom right you have the Ground Terminal.

Start-up

The Smarter tools ST-GP7500DEB dual fuel portable generator is equipped with both an electric start system as well as a recoil rope start system. Before you start the engine of the generator check and see that the generator is placed on a flat level surface. Here are the steps to be taken to start this generator.

  1. Check and see that there are no loads connected to the generator.
  2. Turn the 120Volt circuit breaker to the On position.
  3. Turn the Fuel valve to the On position.

  1. Turn Off and unplug all loads.
  2. Let the generator run without a load for several minutes to stabilize the internal temperature.
  3. Turn the Engine switch to the Off position.
  4. Turn the fuel valve to the Off position.
