The Honeywell 6036 gas powered portable generator is equipped with a Generac 389cc OHV engine with cast iron sleeves. This engine runs at 3600 RPM and provides power enough to to let this generator produce 5,500 watts of continuous power while being able to surge up to 6,875 watts.

The engine has a low oil shutdown to protect the engine.

Outlets are four 5-20R 120V duplex outlets and one L14-30R twist lock 120.240V outlet.

Start-up

The Honeywell 6036 gas powered portable generator uses a recoil start system to start the engine of the generator. Before you start the generator make sure that you have the generator placed on a level flat surface in a well ventilated area. Check the oil and the fuel.   1. Check and see that the circuit breakers are in the Set position.
  2. Turn the fuel shut off valve to the On position.
  3. Pull the choke lever to the On position.
